Except Renegade Hardware was actually relevant. Whereas this is baseless e-thuggery.
What happened with RH? They were robbin' people too?
there's a famous story about how one of their artists tried to take them to court to get the money he was owed. then, however, he changed his mind and decided that he didn't really want the money after all. he also decided that he didn't really like living in the uk any more and would perhaps enjoy moving immediately to a different country.
I might have spoke with this person directly about that.
Told me he didnt see a dime from his vinyl release back in 2001-ish.
And i played it that night.
Unless this isnt him and theres been others.........

From hearsay of course but the way I learned it RH was directly responsible for the break up of Konflict and probably the reason they don't make dnb at anymore. That is a cryin fucking shame.

LOL Dylan you have got some abZ tunes coming that haven't even been written yet. Me think it is appropriate that they come out on dubfront. Working on this one now to be done for when I open for Rusko next week. Sounding haaaard.

thaDoc wrote:Well. This all seems so constructive.

I actually had the fortune of meeting this tnuc flap over this past weekend.

My guy Kamikaze booked me and the rest of the Paranoid Inc crew to come down and play a show. Parallel had a bad feeling about the gig and stayed home. MC C. Rockafellon and myself drove 12 hours down there for gas money to play a show and kinda spread the new crew name around.

The show was dead. Maybe 20 people. Half of which were the dj's and their crews. Pretty awesome turnout for a guy who runs a label that is supposedly on the up-and-up and doing big things or whatever.

This was supposed to be a tag team set for over an hour. He gave us 45 minutes (probably because he knew he hadn't promoted for shit and nobody was going to be showing up. And even if he did promote... you couldn't read the fucking flyer to save your life). Needless to say, I was a bit shitty.

I asked about maybe getting a few drinks. Didn't seem unreasonable considering how far we drove for gas money just to end up at a shit hole-in-the-wall club playing for the other dj's. Got a negatory on that... naturally.

After the show I decided to go ahead and call this douche nozzle out on his business practices since I didn't realize that he was the famed Prolific (really? bad name choice) until after the fact.

He proceeded to talk a bunch of garbage and try to get me to give him a run down of all the names of people who informed me about this shit. I told him he didn't need to worry about who told me... just that people are talking. He tried to give me the same excuse about wires getting crossed and all.

I can understand communication problems. But when it comes down to it... if you're running a label and you're supposedly on top of shit; it seems to me that you would have gotten physical contracts. Maybe even actually show some tact and talk to the artists you want to release.

Releasing tunes based off word of mouth from a third party is just fucking ignorant.

Based on what I've seen on here and first hand experience with playing one of this guys shows... He's a fucking wanker. And who wears a winter jacket in March in Florida any-fucking-way?

Dude... you live about ten hours too far north to be this much of a south beach looking/acting bitch.

It's probably a good thing I didn't have any drinks... I might have taken it to the stupid level. 'Cause I can be an asshole like that from time to time.

Is that 'dis' tune against my boys at Dubfront going to be on this super amazing EP?

'Times are hard right now'

I guess that's why you drive an Infinity coupe huh?

And yes... good God... some paragraph breaks would be fucking aces!!

For a bunch of professionals you guys strike me as a bunch of junior high kids trying to do anything to look cool so you can get your dick played with. I'm from Indy... trust me... I know that type of promoter. Boh!!

Anyway... big ups to Abz and DLX on the massive tunes. Bass at it's best as always!
I would first like to start by stating that you obviously wear two faces, in person you were biggin my label and my tunes up big time but I guess anyone can be an internet tough guy when there is a witch hunt going on.

Secondly I wasn't the promoter for the night Bradley/Kamikaze contacted me when he first moved down here stating he wanted to do an event so I said I have the venue locked for you on the specific date of March 7th, 2009. The Club owner's name is Sin he will confirm this information is accurate.

The most hilarious part of your claim is that from the info I was given for the flyer design, you weren't even booked that night! Bradley said he was bringing Arsenic down (Point of Reference) and that same week I had Atreus and Sighnature down for some shows in NOLA, Lafayette, and Fl so with them and the locals we had a pretty good lineup. The most fucked up thing was that Bradley did zero promotion for the night and the 20-30 people that were there were all my locals that support EDM in an overly saturated top 40/radio club scene here in NW FL. Here is the flyer folks for any doubters!
Image

I don't see your name on here.

Now Bradley said you were filling in for Arsenic because he couldn't make it which really pissed us all off because that's bullshit to say you are bringing a h/l and he doesn't show but I'm a pretty nice guy as well as my artists and we were all just down for everyone to play good music and have a good time so I said whatever let's just get fucked up and have a good time. As far as you getting paid that wasn't a possibility as your boy didn't promote and when people don't show up that kind of fucks up your money so I don't know if your dude lied to you or what happened but Atreus, Sighnature, myself, and Ken Killz all got stiffed!

I would like to add that the other shows that Atreus, Sigh, and I played we all got paid you can ask them yourself or contact the promoters that did their job and being the artist we are made their parties jump off!

Now where I'm totally lost is that you never engaged in any type of confrontation with me or my people when you were here you were as cool as the other side of the pillow why would after leaving here come and slander me on this board why wouldn't you have said any of this to my face? It's funny how in person people just want to be cool and get along and everything is lovely but when you are posting on a board you are harder then scarface? Think not!!

The reason I drive a g35 and own a half milllion dollar home is because I run three companies I am respected far beyond the boundaries of EDM in any genre and make major dough with professional business practices and education I have attained with hard work, initiative, and dedication to being successful.

Anytime I am playing a show the promoter receives a contract from my agent which is signed and returned with a deposit. Start practicing professional business even if your friends are involved because at the end of the day you got played by your boy and not me. Your marketability is nonexistent in FL so I know I nor any of the supporters here would pay to come watch you play so anytime you come down here it's tough as the EDM scene isn't too big and you have to have a name and a marketability factor to have a good turnout and expect to get paid.

I just wanted to comment on this situation as there is two sides to every story and usually the first one to start crying wolf is lying and fabricating facts to the point where it's laughable at best which at this point everyone in this world minus about 10 people on this board still can't comprehend!! You guys should spend more time writing tunes and less time writing on message boards. My $.02!!
