This, just create your own genre and hype the shit out of it.

Hey, I'm a relatively new producer from Western New York. I began to produce over the summer, and have been slowly producing some stuff. I mostly work on House, Dubstep but want to start working with Chillstep and Brostep. My first actual introduction to Dubstep was running across Daily by Hijak, which was fantastic.

Hello,

Im Say Cheese from the Netherlands. Djing for about 14 years now all around Europe. Say Cheese is not my main business, I started Say Cheese 1,5 year ago just to spread my horizon. Im a profesional dj in house and deephouse music, but I love the alternative styles like electro (Miss Kittin, Kraftwerk, etc) and dubstep (Excision, XKore, KillSonik, SPL, etc). Thats why I started Say Cheese.
I just wanted to start completly from zero, like in my early days.

I produce deep dubstep, but the last few months Im moving my studio to Rotterdam. It will take a few weeks for I can produce music again.

I hope you will like my music!

Hey there everyone :t: , signed upto the forum fairly recently. Been listening to dubstep for about 2 years (I think). Ummm not much to say about me really, wouldn't really call myself a producer (made a few attempts at production on the fl studio demo), that's it really. Yeah I'm gonna end this post now

'Allo people. Been lurking for time. Signed up and intend to stick around. Been 'producing' for a while (dubstep and jungle... big junglist) but starting to get into the swing of it a bit more, mainly from the goldmine of good info that is the production forum.

Safe :t:

Hi, I'm kind of new to producing music. I have produced a few dozen "tracks" if that's what I can call them, and I have a decent following on soundcloud.
I've played different instruments my whole life and really dig the whole bass genre and all its affiliates.
I just want to know what good recommended topics and boards I should be checking out?

Please and thank you,
Nick
Dell Inspiron 15z
Numark Mixtrack Pro
Ableton Live 8
FL Studio 10
Cubase 5

Why on earth would you need Ableton, FL and Cubase?

Hi! I'm new here. Been producing for about 4-5 months. First 3 were in fl studio the last 2ish i've moved to Logic pro 9. I've finally been getting around to buying legal copies of all of my plug ins and vsts since I feel like i want to start taking dubstep production and/or music production more seriously in general.

I use Massive and ReFx Nexus as my two primary vsts, and for plugins i have camel phat but Logic already comes with so many useful tools! I also use a pair of Beyerdynamic DT770 pro 80 ohms for producing since I'm in a dorm room at a university. I'm more focused on learning how to make a wide variety of sounds/learning the ins and outs of logic and it's plug ins at the moment. Ill put a new track of mine in my sig but it isn't mastered to well since I'm still in the learning process. Thanks!

I wouldn't worry about mastering this early on, just throw on a limiter and compress it a bit then chuck it on soundcloud for feedback.
