can someone who has bought the lp please tell me what the pressing is like? i was really disappointed with the sound quality on my copy of 'return II space', i'm really skint atm so i'm not that up for wasting another £20 if this album sounds the same as mala's did :? i'm putting off buying 'urban ethics' until i've got confirmation that it's decent quality.

To be honest the two DMZ eps don't sound as "bright" as many other releases but they do carry a lot of "weight", the other DMZ releases are the same - think it's just a choice in the way they are mastered. Sound awesome loud.

it sounds kind of muffled and just a bit wrong, the hihats sound especially fucked, like they've been downsampled or something? at first i thought my needles had gone but my other tunes sound fine. i play out on the regular so i've heard the tracks loud several times on a few different soundsystems... still sounds wrong to me, which is a shame because i want to play the tunes! (quite a few people mentioned about dodgey pressings on the thread for return II space btw)
anyway, i've been told that urban ethics sounds decent and i will be buying a copy :W:

Mine is ordered now! :)

Stupid question, probably, but is this labeled as a Coki-release or Digital Mystikz? Cos I read both somewhere, I'm just curious as R2S is Mala only, yet labelled as a Digital mystikz.

Cheers for the great music

Strange that, but I heard the same thing about the pressings. The song Return 2 Space skips once unless i put another gram of weight on the tone arm, not too much of a problem, but i have ortofons at the moment so they aren't best for my vinyl. I think i'm gonna get a pair of shure m35x's, heard good things about them. What carts do you use mate?

Arrived today :). Obviously not as good as the Mala LP, but I like all trax apart from Robotnic, that tune is just horrible.
