Can we please make this pivotal thread a sticky so that our grandchildren can see what it was like back in the day when people debated about things that mattered!?

I don't want my grandchildren to know that roughly 28% of us were fucktards. Those of you who voted for 'Legos' can only pray that this thread will one day vanish and your shame can be covered.

I already told your grandchildren that. They said that was rediculous and they will build your tombstone out of LEGOs to spite you.

That's just the kind of delusional chat I'd expect from someone who doesn't know the basic tenets of Language.

Sure...yeah... you went to the future and spoke to my grandkids...alright then....woah...lie down it'll be ok... just stay away from the sharp objects.

The question is an oxymoron.

'Lego' is, of course the plural or rather the 'collective noun'.

'Piece of Lego' is the singular.

Your question, should have been. "Lego is the plural. What is the singular ?"

{exhibit A} - 2 young lads walk into Hamleys, one turns to the other and says "Oh my days ! Just look at all this Lego"

{exhibit B} - A mother calls out to her son "Barthoduke, pick up your lego, its all over my fucking floor you horrible bastard !"

{exhibit C} - Barthoduke calmly turns to his mother and says "Easy there lady, as you can clearly see, there is just 1 'piece of lego' on this floor"
