Rapeman is such a great band and I crack up every time I think of their name (which I know is taken from a Japanese comic)

I always thought of rapeman being a weak project compared to big black, but I was also 15 when I last listened to them. Maybe I should check them out again

I think it's my favorite band of Albini's. It used to be Shellac, but Rapeman has grown on me over the years.

They're a totally different band. Think they're only comparable by being Albini's band. But I like the way they write songs. It's very suitably minimal rock music.

Yeah I realize that, just stating what I looked for. I like all three bands for what they are, I just like Big Black the most. Like I said, the gritty sound is just awesome, and alot of the spngs are still very well written.

Shellac is dope tho, my black ass is one of the funkiest rock songs I've ever heard.
