DRAG ME TO HELL

Amazing! Sam Raimi taking it back to his old school film making days. Kinda had a slight B movie feel to it with some dark comedy..my kinda ting.

Watch it if you like horror/comedy films

Ya, and for comparison..

REC > Quarantine

What's the deal with shot for shot remakes, god damn they should've just screened the Spanish one. IDK why the US film industry thinks people have problems with reading subtitles.

I disagree..I just think it's more profitable to purchase the rights to a foreign film, do the remake..and profit. I really believe most ppl don't have a problem reading subtitles..

It's fuckin rodriguez so I expected some dark, epic bad-assery. Man I thought it was great (yet still sub-par) up towards the end. Then it turned into mediocre shit with the lamest plot twists it just made me irk a little. I mean the ending... come on... I think danny trejo has much more talent than you see there. So much character but such a narrow expression of it.

If I ignore the fact it's about the Royal Family it's not a bad film - bit of a grandma's film but still good. ACtually it's very good I just don't like to admit I enjoyed it :D

Yeah, I can see your point, the ending was a bit dashed off for me as well,
I was all hyped for it since the fake trailer and was probably in the perfect mood for it (also the fact that I don't really know rodriguez's previous work, so I had nothing to compare it to) oh, and trejo... I totally agree :D

yeah it's an annoying one, for some reason when the films are in foreign dialect it seems to add a lot more impact. I'd take an original over a remake with any day of the week. Reading subtitles really isn't difficult. Sort of becomes normal and you're not even aware you're doing it.

Visitor Q had me on the floor in hysterics. Love that film. The only other film that's made me laugh at such awful things is Man Bites Dog.
