its not bad when done correctly
i remember when i first heard baauer a couple years ago, then i caught him at the rinse fm warehouse projects, the opening night, he played a pretty good set and i was off my dish so i enjoyed his cheesy tunes. its not all that bad. okay i take it back its all absolute shit except for about 4 baauer tracks, the more hip hoppy ones and less cheesy stereotypical trap ones (not old southern hip hop trap, new 'edm' trap)

an explanation for this is that he spent a large part of the last year and a bit devoting himself to Chief Keef worship. Bound to come across in his music.
Naah, it happened way earlier, I remember him taling about Lex Luger in some Wire interview a few months before Dedication came out

Dunno, I didn't like any of the modern d'n'b tunes posted here. They all seem too "techy" to me and have this kick-snare-kick-snare pattern. I'll be definitely playing "It's Time" though, I like the warmth of the bass and the slow roll of the drums. I think it would suit the tunes like these:

I don't claim to be jungle btw, UK hardcore.
