an explanation for this is that he spent a large part of the last year and a bit devoting himself to Chief Keef worship. Bound to come across in his music.
Naah, it happened way earlier, I remember him taling about Lex Luger in some Wire interview a few months before Dedication came out

Dunno, I didn't like any of the modern d'n'b tunes posted here. They all seem too "techy" to me and have this kick-snare-kick-snare pattern. I'll be definitely playing "It's Time" though, I like the warmth of the bass and the slow roll of the drums. I think it would suit the tunes like these:

I don't claim to be jungle btw, UK hardcore.

u gotta ask yourselves one thing... if Zomby didn't carve out this knobhead image of himself through twitter and his gigs, would he have acheived the cult status he currently holds just off the back of a few releases? the guys got us all talking about him for 190+ pages...

i unfollowed him on twitter when he said some shit about atheism being stupid, because I can't tolerate that kinda chat from someone who has no grasp of science, but musically and as an undercover weirdo I can't get enough of the guy; he's the most interesting artist I know (to observe from a distance)

oh and the album has grown on me loads. Listen to Memories and How to Ascend about 10 times a day haha
My recorded all vinyl mixes are here...

that just goes to prove everything i hate about people who wear the label atheist so proudly. stuck up their own arse, chatting the same bollocks as every other atheist, thinking they've got some sort of monopoly over science. i think i'd rather sit down and have a chat with a group of Jahova's Witnesses.

religious people dont deserve science. religion 1000000% defeats the purpose of science. theists can stick to their magic tricks and outdated 2000 year old silly fiction books

Lol, just when this thread gets to talking about new drum and bass vs old jungle, Zomby twets accordingly.

Can't fault the man's taste. His twitter has introduced me to some sick old jungle etc.
