Fucking tnuc manager prick trying to boy me off by rejecting all my holiday applications bar 3 days (out of 19). Got to go union now which longs it out horrendously. Everyone hates this manager, he's well known for not giving a shit about his staff and he makes weird clicking noises for no reason whatsoever.

Union best slap him sideways.

Downloaded an 8GB Blueray rip and the turd who upped it to rapidshare passworded it, the utter utter utter utter utter wanker, I bet he was french as well. Serves me right I know but I like to download films that look a bit dubious before I buy them.

No D13 for me tonight then :(

Didn't he put the password on the site you got it from then? Because otherwise I don't see what the problem is.

Nah, I tried that and all the rapidshare URLs I know such as http://www.rapidbyte.org but nothing yet, I think it came off usenet originally. Going to try a few more things before I cry.

edit: it's only the bloody name of the film

No subtitles and the ones I downloaded are way out of synch, even when I synch them up they go out of synch in a few minutes. I wish I spoke French, damn my typical English ignorance :(

I can speak a little spanish though:

"DOS BEER POOR VIEW AMIGO" :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

This has really fucked me off actually, I shouldn't get this angry over it but I am bloody foaming, what the fuck is the point of uploading a foreign film to an english website if you don't include the subtitles, those pesky french!!

don't they have any other staff they can ask to cover? I used to get shit like this all the time and always got guilt tripped into agreeing to cover shifts, but after a while they just kept asking only me and ringing me first as they knew I always said yes so I started putting my foot down a bit more often and they began asking others more

In future just say no, if you dont want to work tell them its your time off and that you have made plans.

Also tell them that you cant relax on the few days off you do have if they keep on calling you.

Whats the worst that can happen, they cant sack you for not working on your day off...unless you still in your probationary period and you need to kiss a bit of arse to get a permanent contract.

I wouldnt have it personally.

This^ If you say yes once they'll do it all the time. It's not on and you shouldn't stand for it. A pub I used to work at did this to me once, they managed to get hold of me whilst i was in Spain, asking me to work the day i got back. Told them to fuck off and i quit with no notice :)

For some reason I always get extremely pissed when my employer calls in my weekend/vacation... I have those days off for a reason - NOT to talk about god damn work.
