And that's the reason even i can't speak French. I live not so far from the French border and the only thing that i can say is 'Je ne parle pas français'. If you want to learn a language it's better that you are doing it by yourself. Yeah, trying to think in Japanese just sounds like an impossibility for me.
It doesn't help that there are different ways of saying the same thing depending on your age, who you're talking to, their relationship to you and their/your standing in society.
i love it though, its such a beautiful language and society, all based on bushido.
