She's probably pregnant with your baby and feels that if she doesn't cement the relationship now then you'll just leave her.
Not far off from the truth though considering you fell asleep while talking to her.
Might as well have fallen asleep on the job.

tsk tsk

As a cross dresser I'd have thought you'd be empathetic.

in my defence it was 2am and I'd had a very exhausting band practice that night, when I woke up I still had my phone in my hand from where I'd been messaging her

Nightmare when you're at a distance; but as hard as I find it to walk away when I think I'm right, sometimes you've just got to take an L and move the conversation on.

Last week I'm pretty sure I ended up apologizing for having a cold.

Boss: "Think I'm gonna take my scarf, it's freezing!"
AusToss: "Put it round your head; we'll call you Boopy"

I can feel myself getting thicker sitting here. tnuc.

tbf, this. Sometimes you gotta know that you don't have to apologise profusely. Can reinforce the idea that you actually did something wrong, when it might just be the other half being unreasonable.

I was kinda between both, I apologized whilst still explaining how and why it happened and that it wasn't just me being an inconsiderate dick for the sake of it

Yeah, obvs not knowing the situation, doesn't seem like it should require more than a "sorry, I fell asleep" to resolve it.

It's cos this exact thing's happened before, fucking 7hr time difference means she's having her lunch break about the time I'm getting ready for bed so sometimes I fall asleep mid conversation, I know what'll happen, she'll be moody with me for a day or two until she get's distracted by something else (probably work being shit or having loads of stuff to do for her masters), I'll cheer her up about that by generally being the nice, supportive, good guy I am (fedoresque), she'll forget about the falling asleep thing and everything will be bless again

You kind of also need to realize that you are in a long distance relationship and it is understandable that she may be a bit concerned that you're loosing interest or something.
It's just a natural fear.

Reassure her.
