I enjoyed ice skating. Will definitely do it again. I didn't fall at all but of course, I was by the boards the whole time. Hahaha. Will have to bring thicker socks next time. Pressure spots are a bit sore, but I feel good for not falling and not giving up until I was able to balance myself.

Yeah, I wish that was recommended earlier on by the videos I've seen. The rental shoes they had were not made of leather/cloth-like materials. Would that be a reason? The ones used by regular skaters looked softer and feet were able to conform with the shoes. Rentals were hard plastic/polyethylene.

yeh, i guess if you buy your own ones, you get comfy leather ones as opposed to the multi user rental ones which need to be sturdier etc
