Swear down people act like there's an official naming ceremony or something.

Somebody started a thread, explained the sort of sound he was on about, everyone in that thread knew what the thread was about then.

Folk more interested in slagging arbitrarily assigned names than discussing the tunes...

no. ppl on here had labelled it under that term WAY before that 'appreciation' thread was made. way before.

Spark it isn't original but it still bangs

you were saying that sound was not known off dsf. i proved you wrong by showing you various types of features over the last 12 months on artists that represent the sound, showing there's interest for the sound outside the borders of the forum. whether you like the site or not, being an xlr8r pick is quite a good look these days. period

(as xlx8r means so much to the poster above) how can something completely unoriginal be worthy of 'XLR8R Rating: 9/10'?
lol you think i care for these reviews after that rating?

/

don't come in with dead internet features and think you're proving some point plz. i'll counter it with the bad features like this joke of an article http://www.dummymag.com/features/essay- ... nderground

learn to use your brain
you're saying no one gives a shit about the sound outside here. i gave you signs that they were mentioned on websites that have hundreds of thousands of visitors. whether you like them or not is irrelevant - i don't. whether the articles are good is irrelevant. they've got people following them - and they happen to push this sound. hardly confined to the 130 appreciation thread innit
debate over lululu

which is?

you know the bar has been dropped on the floor when ppl would rather talk about 'arbitrarily assigned names' rather than the actual beats that fall under said terms

I think its more a certain group of people that would rather just try and antagonise everyone else in the thread rather than join in the discussion about the tunes, nothing to do with the tunes themselves.
