I find it wierd that you don't seem to have as much sympathy for others who can't do it alone. Feels like you feel you're better than other addicts because you did it alone.
I'm guessing you started out doing it as a recreation, most of addicts on the street are using because they have no homes, they got put on the street, etc etc. So they turn to drugs as an escape.
Really surprising to say you had an addiction.

I have never in my life had an interest in trying crystal meth, until I saw this documentary.
About the old guy who does it daily because it gives him a lot of energy. This is the only reason why I would try it.
Just once...at least this drug is somewhat constructive unlike weed which makes most people lazy

oh shit yea, of course it's constructive...(slap, palm, head)Shamwow wrote:I have never in my life had an interest in trying crystal meth, until I saw this documentary.

much better than smoking weed. I definately agree with you.
Nah I'm not sure you get what I mean.deamonds wrote:oh shit yea, of course it's constructive...(slap, palm, head)Shamwow wrote:I have never in my life had an interest in trying crystal meth, until I saw this documentary.

Obviously it's bad for you and will fuck you up, and so will most things (masturbation, blindness etc) but the whole idea of redbull without the calories
I don't think I'm better than anyone else with a drug problem because I stopped unaided but I am proud I sorted myself out.gwa wrote:I find it wierd that you don't seem to have as much sympathy for others who can't do it alone. I do feel for all the people but at some point you've got to stop. I was nowhere near as bad as them though, so my view is skewed. I just know about my problem and my friends who have done meth, heroin, crack etc.
I'm not going to say anymore on it as obviously my view is rubbing people up the wrong way. Good show though, good to see that stuff that should be seen on tv is still shown in amongst the celebrity shit.

these are your typical meth addicts. I speak from 10 years experience of spotting and banning former friends who've turned tweeker. this is what it does to you, aside from turning you into a shady motherfucker and a theif.
there's a saying - a crackhead will steal your shit. a tweeker will steal your shit then help you look for it.
Your view isn't causing any problems, I was just curious as your responses seemed very naive, maybe you worded it incorrectly.bandshell wrote:I don't think I'm better than anyone else with a drug problem because I stopped unaided but I am proud I sorted myself out.gwa wrote:I find it wierd that you don't seem to have as much sympathy for others who can't do it alone. There was a good TV program recently where they got celebs to sleep on the street and interact with beggers etc. Most of them found it rather hard and emotionally tiring, because they realised that most of the homeless people we're on the street due to family issues, broken home, loss of job, something really deep etc etc.
It's easy to fall into addiction, I too had one.

I dunno about naive, maybe I am, but my lack of sympathy stems from seeing various people around me hit rock bottom from drugs or other reasons and pretty much all of them have come out of it themselves.gwa wrote:Your view isn't causing any problems, I was just curious as your responses seemed very naive, maybe you worded it incorrectly.bandshell wrote:I don't think I'm better than anyone else with a drug problem because I stopped unaided but I am proud I sorted myself out.gwa wrote:I find it wierd that you don't seem to have as much sympathy for others who can't do it alone.
