Yeah, I've spent ages getting everything I need just within arm's reach. I realised that is something isn't set up and ready to go, I wouldn't use it, which is a waste.subframe wrote:nice setup. clean, functional.
Where'd you find the desk?
The desk is a pretty cheap Studio RTA "Producer station" from guitar center.

Lots of space and nice racks. The only problem is the metal sides tend to 'ring' at certain frequencies from the monitors. A bit of damping should stop them.
I'd been using a tiny child's bedroom desk from Ikea for 8 years before this. Served the purpose pretty well, but this desk was well worth it and should last me ages.

the desk is the smashed up remains of my old one, i'm gonna get all handy andy on it's ass soon. also waitin till christmas to get my new LCD tv so i can put it on the wall and use it as a monitor. anyway, pretty simple.. pretty messy.

and the new toy mr akai mpd-24
i'm sure you've seen all this before.

Hey, a bit late (and photos taken with my mobile phone): The OHOI! studio in Copenhagen...

The full studio and dj setup

Yamaha 02R digital mixer, Digidesign Mbox (running Pro Tools on Mac), Edirol MIDI/USB keyboard, ADK Vienna Edition mic, 2 x Technics SL-1210m3D, Rodec MX-180 mixer (+ Pioneer DJM-600 mixer not on picture), 2 x Pioneer CDJ-1000mkII.

Roland Juno 2 synth, Hohner Clavinet D6, Rhodes 54 electric piano, rack with E-mu ESI-32 sampler and Korg EX-800 synth on top.

Roland JD-800 synth, Roland Juno-106 synth, PPG Wave 2 synth.

SCI Pro-One synth, Boss Dr. Rhythm DR-55 drum machine, Boss Dr. Rhythm DR-110 drum machine, Boss HC-2 hand clapper, Roland SBX-10 sync box, Roland SH-101 synth.

Korg DDD-1 drum machine, Novation Bass Station synth, Roland CR-8000 drum machine (with individual outputs option), Roland TR-909 drum machine (we have got another one too, not on picture), Roland CR-78 drum machine (we have got another one too, not on picture), Roland TR-808 (with MIDI option) (Yamaha DX100 synth, Rocktron Banshee talk box, Roland TR-707 drum machine, Rhythm Ace FR-6P drum machine etc. not on picture).

Rack containing Kenton Pro-4 MIDI-CV-GATE-SYNC converter, Roland TB-303 Bass Line synth, MAM VF-11 vocoder, Roland TR-606 Drumatix (with individual outputs and filters options), E-mu Classic Keys synth, Yamaha TX81Z synth, Oberheim Matrix 1000 synth, Roland P-330 piano module, Korg DVP-1 vocoder synth, Korg M1R synth (Sherman Filterbank not on picture).
My father´s studio next door (same studio complex building as us):

Too much gear to mention, but this is where I do all mixing for myself and the crew plus many others. But in general all my tracks are made on a Powerbook running Pro Tools LE and Reason 3.0.
