Voting should end on the 21st, unless there are no votes to go around, then maybe Kaizoku will consider ending voting earlier.

And I mean what I said earlier about wanting to see what/how this mix was done...

i do want to vote for 1 cos in all fairness it is the best laid out track and the bassline is good considering the samples we got. (<hard to work with)
but music is music and it's the way it makes you feel, so i'm gunna go for 12 cos the intro is very nice and it a great upbeat track in general.

That's pretty much what I was thinking when I voted to a T : )
When I heard number 1 I thought "wow, setting the standards high from the start blocks" but practically every track had it's own style and flavours.
Bravo though number 1, whoever you might be (yes, the participants should be revealed). Top track n top production

And well done everyone, good work with quite a tough sample pack : )

Knowing that everyone agreed on the winner to enter the sample pack competition, you don't really have to guess hahaha, Kaizoku is the winner.

Hahahaha, that's what i was thinking. And only having heard the track from the last comp. Seems they already have a recognisable style (and that's a good thing). So congrats Kaizoku, a really great track. Great basslead mid thingy, and overall sound. Had that melody in my head for an afternoon. Only bad thing is the groove after about 2:20, it just doesn't fit for me. It leaves me standing helplessly confused on the dancefloor

Lot's of interesting tracks! My personal favorites are 5 and 12, and 1 ofcourse
new samplepack will be ready on sunday!

Hurray!

Thanks for the props guys! This wouldn't have been possible without Sinus Sawtooth's masterfully put together samplepack, some serious sick sounds could be squeezed from it, as you can tell from all the different tracks in this competition! Curious about the next samplepaaaah, wait... I remember...
Big up everyone!

12) Damn... this song almost makes me wish I hadn't entered! Original, great parts, progression, and arrangement - somebody knows what they're doing in that department. This one made me skank in my office chair. Maybe would've liked a little more melodic progression, but I say that about 90% of dubstep I hear anyway. Whoever mixed down #1 should do the same to this tune and then it should be pressed up ASAP!

I know he was kind of joking but i'll pm you guys the Renoise file if your interested?
I know sinus quite liked it
(would this be an example of wearing my heart on my sleeve? just wondering..)

No joke man - I voted for 12, it stood out that much. While I don't have Renoise installed (been tempted at various times but am liking and settling into Reaper,) this song was enough to make me want to check out more of your tunes... and that rarely happens to me lately (Haack is the other recent exception.) Which is not to say that there weren't other tunes strong enough to make me a little curious about their creators, but this one just, well, spoke to me.
In fact, I can't think of a better endorsement for Renoise than the fact that this track was produced using it. DId you use any other apps or hardware to mix or was this a straight render?
Kaizoku crew: what gear you stöners using?

Really can't wait till the next sample pack, congratulations once again Kaizoku Krew, and good job everyone else.

You shouldn't have done that, now you know i'm not very good....
All of it in Renoise.... and its native effects apart from the Kjaerhaus Classic Auto-Filter (spelling) for the house chord thing...
I believe vivace uses Renoise too
