I can see that. when was ps2 and xbox...2001/2002?
personally I think nintendo really fucked up with the Wii.
i'd also love for Sega to come with a next level console out of nowhere. not gonna happen though. *sigh*
Yeah and Microsoft aint even gonna make another one until around then, they are just gonna keep updating the 360 and keeping it top of the line i mean has anyone seen the natal yet, it's something new they are bringing out for the 360 like the Wii except you use your body as the controller and apperently you just plug it into the 360. Personnaly i couldnt give a shit for the natal as long as the 360 has top of the line games with top of the line graphics i am good. Funny how old the 360 acctually is now and still it's the best console out.

what a load of shit. this game should be renamed "Virtual Peodo".
i like the idea of the technology though but dont see how this can just be a game.
and NATAL seems shit. i bought the 360 because i wanted to be lazy, lay on the sofa and only move my fingers. i only play games when im hungover/coming down and cant bare to move so the thought of moving and getting "exercise" is pointless. id go for a jog and save myself the £150-200 this is blatently going to cost

The Mirror has Modern Warfare 2, saying it "crosses a line."
For those who don't want the game ruined, both the link and the rest of this story contains potential HUGE SPOILERS so close your window now.
The Mirror has picked up on leaked footage of the player walking around an airport terminal shooting civilians, describing it as: "It appears you have no one to shoot at other than unarmed people walking around the terminal. If the clip is indeed on the money, it's a huge move for the games developers Infinity Ward and crosses a line which will doubtless invoke the ire of the media and anti-games commentators. Making light of terrorist atrocities such as the Mumbai attacks takes gaming to new lows which will doubtless cause many to eschew Modern Warfare 2 completely."
Activision responded to the leak with the following statement: The leaked footage was taken from a copy of game that was obtained illegally and is not representative of the overall gameplay experience in Modern Warfare 2.
Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2 features a deep and gripping storyline in which players face off against a terrorist threat dedicated to bringing the world to the brink of collapse. The game includes a plot involving a mission carried out by a Russian villain who wants to trigger a global war. In order to defeat him, the player infiltrates his inner circle. The scene is designed to evoke the atrocities of terrorism.
At the beginning of the game, players encounter a mandatory "checkpoint" in which they are warned that an upcoming segment may contain disturbing elements and they can choose not to engage in the gameplay that involves this scene. Consistent with its content, the game has been given an "M" for Mature by the Entertainment Software Ratings Board. The rating is prominently displayed on the front and back of the packaging, as well as in all advertising.
Tabloids and videogames have never made for good bedfellows, seeing as the latter represents an easy target for the former. Given The Mirror has jumped the gun and attacked Modern Warfare 2 before it was released, we can only guess at the level of mayhem in the tabloids when the full game itself comes out.
Not this type of shit again, who remember's the whole manhunt feasco.

lol I remember that. decent game...all the hype definitely helped it.
there was that other game that was fucked up....where you're on death row and demons take over the prison. no controversy there but it was a sick game.
