did any of you ever own/play the old PC video game of Blade Runner? It was like 4 cds...and the sick thing about it was that there were like 8 different possible endings to the game. some were based on whether you shoot or help out certain AI cats (whatever they called them), or like particular questions you asked them in the Voigt Kampf (?) test and shit.

great game.

umm.....vaguely...excuse e I been drinking a bit...my description is probably off.

it's 3rd person. but it wasnt like you defeat "bosses" and shit. it kinda was. you dn't engage in shootouts that often. most of it is asking questions and looking at random evidence. and you get clues from people as to where to go next. you can spend 3 hrs not having a fuckin clue what to do next.

so....yeah I guess it was rpg style....but next level rpg style

:)

Kay's recommendations sound great... definitely going to check out the Time Machine sequel (definitely my favourite serious sci-fi book - barely a uniform or unlikely terraformed planet to be seen anywhere) and Evolution sounds pretty cool as well.

Time travel is the shit.

They've just brought out a new edition of Evolution with a black fuzzy cover lol. Part of the Future Classics line of books (which also looks rather good tbh). I was tempted to buy it just for the randomness.

Itching to go book shopping. But holding off till I get to America. Although books aren't as cheap as they used to be.
