The G-Shock ones are different to the cheaper ones, alot bigger/ more durable.... the cheaper ones look like something you'd win at the arcade...

a couple of months ago after the radio in leeds i noticed alot of youths wearing these peter pan style tshirts with like a long drape on the back? fuck knows whether it was fancy dress or what but looked like a cross between peter pan and robin hood, didn't help that alot of them were green aswell...

i know what you guys are saying and a few years back i may have said the same thing but there is something about following a subculture that supposedly doesnt require a uniform & maybe thinking you're cool as fuck and then basically conforming obsessively to a massive affectation....this is worse than listening to pop music and knowing you're a conformist and not caring either way...i was gutted about corsica as it was a great night...best ive seen for ages and i really thought it would be just heads...and by that i mean not hipsters...they are not heads whichever way you look at it

I've been wearing cheap digital watches since the 80s. Don't generally care for watches with hands. And in the previous incarnation of my current job I went through so many watches (read: got destroyed by chemicals) that it never made sense to use anything that cost more than 20 quid.

I really couldn't care less what people dress like, as long as they are:
a) having fun
b) not affecting my ability to have fun
The most dressed-down person can spoil a night just by being a tnuc. In exactly the same way that the most scenesterish person can also spoil a night by being a tnuc. I'm not gonna let someone affect my ability to appreciate a night by how they dress. I may, of course, choose not to stand right next to them. But usually I don't really notice people anyway as I spend half the time with my eyes closed.

I will say, however, that as someone who wears glasses, that those shutter shades really annoy the fuck out of me.
