For me it's all about Linkwood and Meursault.

Linkwood's "System" was the best album released last year imo and Meursault's "Pissing On Bonfires/Kissing With Tonugues" was the best album released in 2008.

Neil's been around for absolutely ages in fact since the mid/late nineties. He started off releasing minimal hard techno and had releases on Tresor / Peace Frog etc. I remember him getting a lot of plays on Peel around that time. I've got one of his records. He's now on Planet Mu making sort of glitchy stuff. I like some of his stuff but other stuff I find really dull and boring. Intersting producer tho.

Major lol here. My smiley face didn't carry my sarcasm too well I see. thanks tho :)

I have been listening to his music for a very long time now... Brown by August was the first thing I picked up by him about 14 or 15 years ago. I'm getting old :)

Oh shut up, since I've been here everyone I've met is cool. It's not that bad as you people are trying to make it look.
Haha. Take a 10 minute bus ride North or East of central and we'll see if ye'v got the same opinion. Fuckin Injun Country.
So "North or East of central" is scotland? Give me a break, you got shit spots in every country.

I'm not the biggest scotland fan, but I am enjoying myself, and I have not met any asshole yet, just close minded people like you.

I guess ye haven't caught on to the scottish sense of humour then? And yeah, i was only talking about Glasgow there, but now that i think about it, those rules pretty much count for any city.
For Dundee make that 45 seconds and add south and west.

...you people.

We were going to buy Loops Haunt a deep fat fryer for his birthday, but we decided that he'd kill himself. Not through heart disease though, he'd try to deep fry a cup of tea or something and burn down his flat. This is the boy that nearly killed himself defrosting a bread roll in the microwave.

Linkwood is english.

Maybe so but his studio is up here in Leith, Edinburgh.

"System" is a Scottish baby.
