for the people that dont ' get' the tagging thing, you gotta think of it as an activity you participate in,and everything that accompanies that activity,.. not just whats left on the wall. the satisfaction isnt soley from the outcome or getting known. its also from actually going out and doing it. and unless you have done it, you wont (fully) understand that mentality.

soon as i learnt to write name i was writing it all over my house and blaming my cat when my mum asked 'who did it'...

some people just like a good scribble.

not condoning shit graffiti or anything, but you can pretty much guarantee that the writer at least enjoyed doing it at the time.

shittest anaology i can think of is sports.

you do it cos you can and its fun.

graffiti is good for the economy: the painters they buy paint, which is good for the shops and the paint manufaturers. And then the people who wash the paint off the trains make their living of it so actually graffiti is good

It's just fun to go out at night, forget about the shit at home and walk around the town getting fame. Not from idiots that know nothing about it but from a community that knows whats up. I started out like tox, then moved on to other stuff. When you get no recognition from your peers at school you go rogue and take it to the streets. The fear of getting caught is always a rush. Not only from cops but also gangs out here in California. If you get caught writting in the wrong neighborhood you instantly get smoked or beat bad. And its worth it too.

Not the getting beat part but the fame. lolz
