Been producing it hard for the last 5 or so months. For a lot of people who weren't around for the first wave of garage/2step, a large part of the appeal is that it isn't halftime, and it feels fresh. I like to mix it up though. I don't think I've done a strictly 2step or a strictly halftime tune in a while.
Just put some new shit on myspaz.
EDIT: All these soundcloud imbeds are killing m(y shitty old computer)e.

I am not sure where to go with the swing tho. I just don't know how far to go with it. You could say use your ears but it is important to me that you can mix my shit with other tunes. Closest I get to 2step is with this number here, it is just as much techno as 2step tho tbh

Keep your key aspects such as your kick and up beat hats hard quantized and you shouldn't have too much of a problem
EDIT: Loving that tune btw dude, didn't get a chance to check it before!

I dig that vibe and dig into it from time to time.
I'm even currently working on a 2 step tune, we'll see where that heads.
This is a tune I started working on a while back, but don't know if I'll ever get back to finishing it. Reinstalled my Windows and some of the files somehow got corrupted. Pity
Very early version though.
Steam link! "Disco Nutter - City Rain" snippet.

Yeah, there are a lot of people still doing it. Just not as much, I suppose.
Sully is making some sick stuff!
