Mate, just have a wank and you'll feel ok.
One minute you're talking about releases, the next you're talking about quitting what you're doing that had potential in getting you somewhere
Your stuff was trancey anyway, I wasn't classing it as Dubstep.

you can only make what you feel like mate, make what you want, I make all kinds of shit, not necessarily good, but its what comes out some days, trying to force it to be something else just gets you nowhere, go with it!

I think maybe the next tune I write will be anything but dubstep. I am not so much feeling uninspired as just feeling kind of pressured to write dubstep. Right at the moment I don't have any deadlines really so I think this might be my chance to branch out. I usually feel ready to get back into dubstep right away afterwords as the tunes don't turn out as good as I think they will be most times. I want to make a little more traditional dance music than I am used to. Something in the direction of house and techno how ever it ends up. Defo not going for a particular sub genre which is why no one will play it lol but it will be good excersize. Should really get to it rather then talking about it.

This has given me an idea. I was pissing about with Simpler and bumping a few melodies together-and I got this really good trancey melody which would either work well in psytrance or dnb but I haven't listened to enough psy and I can't make dnb drums properly yet
SO I might bang it over a dubstep beat and see what it comes out as
