This has been up for weeks and I haven't checked the vids yet (would say this is due to not having enough time, but that would be a blatant lie).
Checked out the Tsarion blog though and thought a lot of what he had to say on psychological issues was quite intriguing - just a massive pity that a lot of the responses were from new age, astrology twats that really ruined it - "yeh, but of course she's a sagittarius". The bit on emotional vampirism was particularly spot on though.
I'll check these at home and see what I think. I'd really recommend reading the Jon Ronson book "Them" as I doubt he's a government stooge (having written about the strange world of Psy-Ops) but we have to remember that if Alex Jones' explanation is wrong (there's some mention of the Burning of the Owl ceremony that's quite funny - Ronson sums it up as more ex-frat boy ritual than occultism, whilst Jones and colleague bolt thinking the Secret Service are after him).

yeah i'm always encouraging people to read the vampires bit.
it makes a lot of sense and we can all relate to being vamped.
as for the new age bullshit, tsarion decries new age philosophies as a corruption of truth that spreads misinformation.
he does believe in astrology though deeply. not necessarily horoscopes in the newspaper, but he does def believes that there is no such thing as coincidence and you can find truth and patterns in coinicidences.

Not convinced by astrology generally, although I've had loads of people explain to me about how it affects the seas and then how it holds together for a species that are 70% water. Still not sold on it.
I've read quite a bit of writing by various people thought of as conspiracy theorists who see coincidences in many things, but it's been quite notable that many of them have paranoid, schizophrenic tendencies, which is quite clear in the way that they've reached conclusions based on some truth and then speculation. Not saying that's the case across the board, but I'd rather see some more evidence rather than occult symbolism as this is so open to interpretation and fanciful notions that it makes many of the arguments worthless.
The Bosnian pyramids thing is very interesting though, can't imagine why someone would not want people to know, so I'm glad you pointed this out. Probably take me the best part of a day to get through all these links, but it's all interesting. Cheers mate

watchin syndicated futurama on cartoon network the other night and an episode ended saying something to the effect of "if god is doing it right, you won't notice anything is being done at all."
i realize it lends itself incredibly well to the schizophrenic mindstate that is proned to jump to conclusions easily. it is my personal opinion that these mental "illnesses" are what happens to heavily damaged egos that have a hard time reconciling the difference between what is really going on and what they have been conditioned to think is going on. like having your eyes open while you're dreaming.
like living inside the matrix but seing sentinals flying around through the glass bubble you're really living in at the same time

Numerology I definitely have problems with. If there's profound coincidences, would you care to share them. I'm of the opinion that everyone in the world is afflicted by chaos but is unable to recognize it as such and thus we put huge weight on the flimsiest of notions as a psychological crutch to make sense of it.
I've always been of the opinion that those up top are just greedy fuckers who'll do anything for money and power and the resultant chaos is what the rest of us are left to battle through, so although I'm not convinced by a lot of the arguments, I'm quite sure our leaders are generally not up to much good.
I agree that square pegs into round holes in psych speak are probably the cause of a huge amounts of mental illness - you'd do well to check the information up on the Anxiety Culture website, they seem to be pretty aware of how business, media and government distort reality and they've got some pretty dandy examples to prove it.

anecdote by michael tsarion:
Life & Magic (A true story)
In 2000, I was with a friend that was very skilled in Pattern Recognition and Symbolic Literacy. He never left home without his calculator, and was a master on the secret of numbers, the likes of which would have stunned Buckminster Fuller. It was a religion with him, and he noted every Personal Day and Personal Year, and even events which happend during the course of one single day. He and I were on our way to see the band "The Church" at the Fillmore in SF. I had a premonition that we would meet the band, and he said that was true because of course he was a member of their fan club and had back stage access and so on. But I said no, I did not mean only that. I expected something else. Sure enough, while walking around before the concert, on Haight Street, we passed two gents that I suddenly recognized as two members of the band - the lead guitarist and the bassist/vocalist (a man I deeply admire). He looked kind of raggedy so one would have easily walked past him. But his lead-guitarsist/co-vocalist, who is kind of "cute" was immediately identifiable. He turned and smiled invitingly when we called out. Anyway, as we shook hands and asked where they were going, we accompanied them to a few stores where they were checking out cds.
As we talked with the members of the Church, I saw that my friend had his damnable calculator out and was doing his numerology thing. Without going into all the details, he had added up all our individual dates of birth, and added that figure to that day's date, and then found the average. It was exactly 3.14 (the famous Pi)...that was amazing enough. But what was MORE amazing is that in the store in which we four were standing, we saw that the walls were entirely covered in the posters for what?
- the movie Pi
which had just come out.
All around us and over us, and about us was this black poster, with only one thing on it ---- the symbol for Pi. We were floored, all of us...hair standing up on the back of our necks, totally speechless. My friend just grinned. But can we know, what I now know, which is that this kind of thing happens continually, ALL THE TIME, every moment, every day...yes, it happens like this all the time, but we are asleep...So, perhaps it is time for the sleepers to awaken, and hear what our guides are telling us all the time. I made a deep study of Numerology, because of this kind of event and many more that have happened to me and my friends. My Timegnosis website is the result of my research. I realized that this thing about numbers in particular could become a little too abstract for most people. So, my intention was to use the internet and make it so that it was so damn practical that anyone could benefit from it...and I am glad to say that the response has been overwhelming.

i, personally, dont believe in all the new age bullshit thats out there. as a general rule, about 90% of all the new age books published out there are crap. I do, however know an astrologer, and shes good. I have come to believe in astrology, but more as a tool that can be utilized to leanr more about yourself than "the future". Sure, planets transit through different houses in a persons natal (birth) chart during their life time and these transits affect that person in certain ways, and you can prepare for a transit by going into it wth the knowlede of what to expect, but for the most part astrology is a tool, to delve into one's own psyche.
serisouly, check out your natal chart, then do a bit of research into what the planets, signs, and houses mean, and when you put it together at even an elementary level, you will be rather suprised with the results.
That numerology story is interesting as well, i was never into numerology.
also, parson, life is a dream. If the belief that life is an illusion is schizophrenic, than the dali lama is crazy, as well as most the buddhist, and christian monks, sufis, shamens, and Yogis. Through intense meditation, there is a state that one reaches where he realizes, in the words of a Yogi master "that life is but a 7 minute asana".
Asana being a meditation where one is supposed to focus on the crown chakra and nothing else for an extended period of time, where, ultimately, the practicioner reaches a state of no-mind.
Im not a conspiracy theorist, but i dont really dig it when occultism and astrology get lumped in with consipracy theories, because a lot of what the occult is is not theories, but personal discoveries that became truths to a lot of people. These truths may not be real for you or me, but they were no less real to the people who discovered them than the belief that the kingdom of god is within you (like jesus believed). Its really easy for people to take an objective, scientific approach to the occult and things they dont understand, but concepts like "meditation" and "ritual" are such personal experiences, that have often unquantifialble results on the physical plane, that its rather preposterous to believe that you can measure them with instruments, and concepts (the scientific method) made by a man.
i dont mean to sound like, confrontational, cos im not. I dont know what to believe with regards to these bosnian pyramids, id have to go there and see "them" first hand to really make a judgement.

Zeus gathered the gods in council to express his concern that these unusual creatures would one day challenge their hegemony. He was loathe to exterminate them with his thunderbolts, though, because there would be no one to bring the gods offerings. He solved the problem by putting each creature into a trance and then splitting it down the middle…Upon awakening, each half only dimly remembered what it had been prior to being cleft in two. Zeus explained to the assembled gods and goddesses the cleverness of his scheme. These creatures would no longer pose a threat to the gods, because they would dissipate their considerable energy by spending the rest of their days searching for their missing halves - Leonard Schlain (recounting Plato’s Symposium account)

Pyramids are a truly amazing thing, and the fact that they have occurred in different civilizations all over the world without any connection/communication is also mind boggling but no more amazing then the simultaneous invention of fire all over the world or the wheel or the use of bronze etc, but you wouldn't connect those things to extra terrestrial life.
Would peoples belief in aliens be so widespread and standardized if it wasn't for science-fiction? I reckon its more likely that the American government has exploited & harnessed peoples belief in aliens to cover up there own secret technology.
In England people don't believe in aliens they believe in ghosts, and there are just as many pictures and anecdotes that are supposed to prove their existence. Not meaning to be offensive to anyone here I just have very strong beliefs in cynicism and disbelief
