I ping servers at 20 - 30ms and with in game latency my ping hovers between 80 and 120ms which is more than playable and what most people get. I very rarely get lag but when I do it's either down to my ISP or Punk Buster, if's neither of those things then there's probably just a routing issue on my connection to the server.jamesgarfield wrote:so for those of you that aren't on the battlefield 3 beta yet..just had a quick question. So it could be a number of things. Your rig may not be up to the job - try running it in DX9 and at low graohics settings, you could be using shitty servers on the other side of the world, your ISP might be shit (fast downloads does not mean you get a good ping), etc.
IME lag is almost always down to your connection tho and mainly a shit ISP such as BT.
