The only thing weak about you smurf is your lack of respect!! Hijak smashes it up time and time again. Maybe not his finest but i think his record proves less than weak.
Looking fwd to checking out the smuf remix soon.
49p in the bargin bin shit i thinks??????????????????

I didn't rate Babylon Timewarp either, but then the original's a classic
Think if you're gonna do remixes/rerubs, best do something you can add to, or it just sounds like unimaginative appropriation of others ideas. Mind you, does also give that added familiarity that most people seem to like and you get publicity for the tenuous links to the original.
Does that sound too cynical???
Hmm....

They posted the parts up on the internet for a remix competition, i've done one, but personally i feel it's blasphemous to do it.

that tune a classic but so overplayed / over remixed - i wish people would focus more on the rest of the 'accelerator' fsol album.

Smurf wrote:no offence but fuck hijak, he remixed a babylon timewarp tune durban poison (which is a classic) and it was absolute shite and now you say hes tampered with a FSOL classic...... wouldn't mind, but hes a weak producer IMO.
we live on the same planet and talk about the same hijack ?

nothing wrong with not liking an artist, its the completely unconstructive criticism that worked me up

Can we please get something straight. . . . . .Babylon timewarp originally started as a dubplate for myself and Jak. . . . .Then Deep Medi wanted to sign it you'd have to be stupid to say no. . .
That's all i have to say

I thought the hybrid remix from around 2000 was quite decent
