tbh both groups are just as bad as each other, the BNP candidate was asking for it by speaking to them the way he was and the youths were starting it by coming over acting all large and spitting in his face. I would most likely have started an arguement with him and if he stepped out of line might've hit him. i also found it hilarious the way he missed the kid on his first swing.

Well, anyone can register themselves to be a candidate. There are plenty of independent candidates who don't belong to any party. They too can say what they want. It doesn't mean people have to vote for them.

Because we are generally an outward looking country, an island nation who depends on trade and immigration to exist and flourish. We've been multicultural for centuries, most of Europe has. A natural result is a slightly enhanced xenophobia amongst the poor... most European countries have it in a minority. Occasionally, it runs wild so we have to be vigilent, but it's a small price to pay for living in an outward looking society.

America made it's choices to become politically isolationist and largely introspective a long time ago. The USA doesn't need a US Nationalist Party because the US is already incredibly insular... both culturally and politically - it can afford to be, as the world's biggest power... it doesn't need to compromise, so why should it entertain the idea of it?

If your governments had slightly more favourable relationships with countries like Mexico or the South American nations, then you'd probably experience a similar movement which would be kept to an ineffective minority, but you've already got a government that's willing to build a wall between your countries, so there's not much for the Nationalist scum to campaign for, is there?

If I thought the BNP had enough brainpower to think it up, I might even suspect it that the "You robbed anything?" call out was a machiavellian move to instigate getting beaten up to try to sway public opinion their way.

Hell, UKIP took to crashing planes to try and get some sympathy in Buckingham!!

I couldn't believe it yesterday... Farage laying in hospital after his plane was downed by its flag (caught in the propeller apparently!) and I looked out the window to see ANOTHER tiny plane with a massive UKIP flag hanging off it flying round the City.... what if it had done the same and hit a tower block?!

Just to say it again. There's alot of ways to boy off the BNP, you dont have to use misquotes (admittedly it does sort of sound like robbers)

I'm a muslim Pakistani and this is so annoying to see. Pakistanis acting like uneducated twats as usual and yet more media coverage of muslims acting in the way the media want us to.

This is more embarassing for asians then it is for the BNP and more of a reason why they should want us out.

If you think about it, why did those 3 asians just walk over so randomly and it was quite out of the blue to react in such a hostile way towards them. Yes they could have just been uneducated retards, but after looking at the "Fucking Terrorist" video, it could have just been media manipulation....

I know this may be me coming across as a little defensive, but I really do wish these fucking idiots would stop acting like children. The BNP can think and act in whatever way they want, I just wish these muslims, not asians, muslims would grow up, educate themselves and hold up decent arguements instead of just giving another reason for cameramen to get out their cameras and add to the stupid stereotype.

I accept fully that the media may well have edited the fuck out of the footage to make a good story, but it hasn't been unheard of in East London for people to have been randomly battered during the course of this election by muslims, more Bangladeshis than pakistanis I know, but the point stands that people have been decked for pretty much straight up, honest journalism, so the idea that the BNP twats would get battered for no reason further than the fact they were canvasing wouldn't surprise me.
