Haven't downloaded yet... but have to give a big props for doing it in the first place...

... I have thought about doing something similar. I used to contribute to Soundsnap when it was free... but now that it isn't, I was thinking of the best way to do so. I still have some other ideas for the future, but sooner than later will probably upload my own set of samples for DSF.

Nice one.

I'm having trouble loading these into logic for some reason, I can't Imagine what is wrong. Anyone else having this problem?

I use Logic but haven't tried the files yet. I'll let you know whether or not I have any issues when I do!

I don't know what's going on here... the files are simple 16 bit / 44.1 kHz wav files...

but appearently Macs have some problem working with zip files, and I was told that some program called something like "suff it" or something like that, deals fine with zip files...

hm, well I had no problem unzipping it, do you think something could happen in the process of unzipping it that would fuck up the files? I tried loading up one of the box samples in audacity (sounded really good!) and yeah... it worked in audacity, I don't know why It wouldn't load them in logic for me :? . I could always make copies of them through audacity or something, I'm just really lazy so it might take me a second to get around to it.

I wish I could help you, but if you say the samples are working in audacity, and not in logic... hm... i really don't know :(

Just tried them in my Logic. Didn't seem to work. Also, Logic seems to think they're 48 kHz samples. Didn't play back at all on an audio channel in the main page, regardless of what sample rate the project was in.

EXS24 didn't like them either, chewed them right up and they sound distorted and a stupidly low bit and sample rate (which is kind of nice hehe)

Finally I tried in both of the NI Samplers and they worked just fine :D

So people having problems with loading them in Logic, if you have any plug in samplers I advise you to use them, if you don't have any then there's a few freebies out there I advise you to get as issues with samples do sometimes pop up and it's not worth not using them just for the sake of not downloading a free plug in :)

I was wrong about the sample rate...

It's 32 bit / 48kHz , maybe that's causing the problem in Logic?

Don't know really why I done it in 32 bit... I'll convert to 24 / 48 and upload a new pack soon for the people experiecing problems...

Yeah, Peak Pro showed your samples as 48kHz / 32-Bit.

That's why I thanked you for the high-res samples earlier... Not often someone shares samples at such high resolution :D

Thanks again!!

haha, yes, but maybe thats the problem with logic users...

i'll downsize them to 24 bit... but will leave 32 bit link...

cheers! :t:

Awesome! I love getting hold of natural sounds like this. You can make some really great things with stuff like this. Thanks for the time you spent putting into this and sharing it with everyone.

To be honest dude I have no problem with using them in Kontakt, I honestly advise anybody without a non-native sampler to get one anyway if Logic doesn't want to support certain samples!

By the way, the ones I listened to whilst testing Logic sounded awesome and very relevant to my projects, so thanks again for these! :w:
