Yeh and stick a load of horrible noise over it... Like a shitty distortion sound, you know like the sort of sound everybody used to try and get rid of by cleaning their needles on their turntables? That Burial is a fucking durkhead.
He obviously just doesn't get Mt Eden's music (neither do I tbh ).

I would try and veer this thread back on topic, but I think it's all been said. Layering/sample choice, compression and eq be the order of the day.

Excuse my ignorance, but what is the history of the mean beat samples. Are there different versions/packs? Who put these together.

Get your official DSF Mt Eden punching bag lol. I kinda feel bad for the kid tbh. People on the dubs section have been making as bad if not worse remixes of good tunes before he even knew what dubstep was. Only thing he did wrong is get a shit ton of looks on youtube apparently. I might hire him to run the Savory Audio marketing department tbh.

Seriously though, this is apparently where his skill actually lies.

They say you can't polish a turd, but if you can figure out a way to make 2 million kids listen to one, you've got something. :)

The 808 will sound good as long as there are humans who can stand. That vengeance stuff, meh-zors. Come go, whatever.

Just my personal opinion but what would be nice in that is some ride hits in the background when it drops - nothing too heavy, just a light ride hit mixed in fairly low, and with a fair amount of reverb. That will make it feel more alive I think, otherwise good job man! sounds tight!
