Half the people reading this probably have no idea how big a deal this is for Rinse FM and UK Music in general.

Big up Rinse management, getting this licence has taken over 15 years, of which I'm proud to have been a part of for the last 7 years

out to everyone from the old days that would be near enough to the transmitters to sit and record the sets. to all of us out side of london, that lived vicariously through these now historic archives, we can't thank you enough. i'm looking at thc, grand, boomnoise, deapoh, and all the others. there's an era of music imprinted on our hearts and craniums, and Rinse was responsible for that. They were fully 10 years ahead of everyone else on radio! legends!

Was some hater on FaceBook saying it would be shit like Kiss. But Kiss ain't shit, is it? DJ Hype's show, Frost's show.. and now Hatcha's show ain't shit. You can't hate on something this good.. and this momentous for the genre, regardless of being legal or no.

Kool FM ain't legal.. but the toons they play are pretty dire. So quality ain't synonymous with being "underground".. and being underground ain't synonymous with being unlicensed.
