There are a lot of producers who I'd rank much higher than Mala, Coki, Benga, Loefah right here on this forum.
Really?

Yes, way higher.

I am not sure if you are trolling me or not tbh.
Where did Benga come from? you know hes not DMZ, right?
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

He gives his music to artists and friends from what I hear.
I like the fact they dont release everything or release digitally.
The music they made was for the moment, that time has come n gone. If you were close to them, or into it at the time then you would have picked up one of the 12"s for £5. Now, you are looking closer to £100 for some of the 12s. History right there and those records will be talked about in 10 yrs time without a doubt. People will have them in frames

Its too expensive for them to release everything now. Shame.

I agree, thats what I do with mine.
But if you dont have those records they will cost you now! Some people may want to hold onto them instead of taking them out where they could get damaged.

Bullshit. I own loads of Coki stuff. In the last few years he's just been a sloth. It's got nothing to do with money, he knows that if it's pressed it'll sell.
He's just trying to limit his music all of a sudden ( See what I did there?) and I don't get why when surely it should be all about getting music out and getting people to hear it.
Rags to it all, I don't support all these ridiculous prices for vinyls. It's just not worth the money.

Having vip's has been common with artists from day one. Its not all about getting ur music played/heard in as many places as possible for some people. Maybe he is cool with just amking music and hearing it played by his mates. Who knows.
I have been paying £100 for a single record before Dubstep was even being made and so were my mates. Shit, we use to get a plane to Rotterdam to go record shopping in a small market that did rare Techno. I still have those records, I clean them on a regular basis. I even got two copies of some of the special ones, one to play, one to hold.

I can only assume you have not been into Dubstep long and before Dubstep you were into something completely different?
What genres were you mixing or making before you got into Dubstep? or were you just listening to music?

Yeh, but they are cheap and easily replaced?
Have you paid for many rare records?

Old vinyl + old vinyl ripped with the right needle/interface etc... should sound the same 99% of the time. Sounds nice with my Shures. No diference.

exatcly. when i'm ripping a vinyl to wav i'm using shure m97xe cart on an older belt drive tech. i also gruv glide and dust brush the plates before they even touch the deck.
i can almost guarantee my 24 bit wav file will sound better and the same over time via dvs vs a plate on degrading dj needles, being handled all the time, backcued etc
i'm not gonna rape a plate i payed 80-100$ or more for by constantly playing it
