I still don't get it. People say, that they've downloaded music before and it was okay for them (because they maybe would be the LP/12" afterwards) but get mad, if someone leaks their material and steal actual his (potentially his) money.
Makes no sense.
Either you do not steal, or you do and don't bitch when it happens to you.
FUCKING MUSIC SHARERS ( itunes bit lord torrent spy etc)

To be honest, I don't use SLSK, so I have no idea! Although I doubt very much there is any lack of Loefah beats on thereUFO over easy wrote:Seriously? Are you sure about that? I've never seen any of Loefah's unreleased stuff on soulseek, or any of yours.pete bubonic wrote:I understand what you're saying and just as there is Loefah's latest beat on slsk, I'm sure my forthcoming ones are as well.
Sharing unreleased tunes is totally out of order. Arguments in favour of file sharing are all well and good but completely irrelevant here - when it comes to dubs, the issue is just the basic principles of trust and respect.

Look, it's like this. I love this music and have friends that do it. I support it fully. Let's say for arguments sake that I can only afford to buy 4 records a month. I do. I've got shit-loads of records. The last 10 records I bought were ALL artists that I had previously downloaded. Nothing can replace actually owning the 12", I know that.
So I buy when I can. In the meantime I download. Big fuckin deal. If I steal a tune and it's really good, it'll go on my list of tunes to buy. My point is that downloading is NOT affecting my purchasing. If anything, it's inspiring it.
If everyone in the world steals your tune you'll be famous as hell. Tell me that someone like Skream would have sold half as much if it wasn't for the pirates. I've bought Skreamizm 1 and 2 after downloading them.
If your material is good, people will buy cos everyone wants to be a DJ and no one feels like a pro when relying on bad quality MP3s. Just relax.
