You made a thread about yourself, that's nice. I'm not sure what you mean trying to pick you up on things.
You were going on about supporting people, surely the dubs threads threads are exactly that? Where you trade feedback on tracks, rather than just asking people to look at yours.
Maybe you use the dubs thread a lot and that's what you meant.

I made ONE thread 'about myself' to post all of my tracks into. Completely the opposite of spamming. If I was spamming I would use several threads and try to dominate the board.

*IF people DO support each other. I never see the likes of certain people in there. - Usually the same people who complain about spam on this board.

Yes, and I check as many tracks and leave feedback as much as I post tracks myself.

well back to just lurking for me i guess. i have enough spam on myspace, facebook and soundcloud without having to see people hyping the same tunes in their sigs in a shitload of threads
the reason personally i don't pop up too often in the dubs or feedback thread is the old adage, "if you don't have something nice to say, say nothing at all"

Im just saying, Whyrez seems to pop up on mysoundcloud, notice threads I start in dubs, and he participates in the feedback threads with us... Therapist, I think your a bit confused as too who your calling out on not giving other feedback. I like whyrez because he is one of my go too people for actual, constructive, FEEDBACK and not ass kissing 'OMG great tune' compliments. So this whole buisness youve got going telling people who DO give others good feedback off for shit they already do, cut it.
i think people on the board need to find a balance, and Im not usre what it is that set you off on this tangent deadly, but, IMO, theres nothing wrong with signature embeds, posting spam in spam threads, ect. I do aggree however, that the 'Unsigned Masterpieces' thread is not a place for you to post your own tunes... Neither is any other inspiration thread... Theres a place is what Im saying...

I wasn't saying your thread was spam (I even said individual threads for posters might be a good idea) I just didn't see what that's got to do with you using the dubs section.
I'm not trying to be aggy with you, but I think it's a reasonable complaint. Some pages take an age to load because of all the soundclouds when you're not even looking for music. Good if you use the dubs section, I give a bunch of tracks feedback only every so often but I don't post tunes so that seems fair. I'm not trying to 'call you out' or whatever, but you're one of the more known people here- already with a following- and it seems weird to interject in other threads to big yourself up. (this is me trying to sound reasonable, might not come across like that)

I've got no problem with people posting up their spam in externally created spam threads, kind of funny, kind of a nice way to discourage the spamming that does happen here.
The spamming inspiration/new good tracks threads, that shit is ugly, stop doing that.
But people that do just post self promotion threads here and do know better, fuck off, you're just creating a negative public image of yourself. This kind of thing encourages us to discount your tracks even further than we did when just hearing them.

Easy man, I think you're getting me wrong as well, I'm not directly speaking to you I was speaking to the thread as a whole and using quotes that had quoted me to back up things I was saying...
All I've been trying to confirm is that I'm not an aimless spammer in any case and I don't bombard threads 'to big myself up'... The reason I take advantage of certain threads, such as spam threads (which I guess is what Legend4ry etc was referring to because I don't start my own or post on irrelevant threads) is because these people are new to the board and it's a very simple and sometimes effective way to introduce my music to them!

Yeah Whyrez is big in da game
tnuc lol
I find it unfair people making me out to look arrogant when all I'm trying to do is expand my business and make a living. Shit the music industry is in such a state I'm just trying to experiment with every opportunity I'm given, I don't see any of it as being pointless at all!
