I'm Ali. I live in Glasgow. I'm 22 (or thereabouts, I've never actually seen my birth certificate...) and I've been listening to and producing this dubstep stuff for a bit over 3 years.

Keira, 27 ( ) from London but jst moved to Surrey, Im a drum n bass promoter (Essence of Chi/London ZU) and also run an d&b artist agency http://www.eocartists.co.uk

We've started havin dubstep artists like Slaughter Mob playin at our events, we had them in October at London Zu, and again now theyre hostin a room at Herbal for us in March alongside loads of others- Skream, Scientist, Search & Destroy...
We got Q Gritty doin a solo set at our 2nd b'day in april too

Been gettin into the dubstep sound since last year- i love anything with big basslines so it was totally natural progression 8) Really rate Skream as a producer rite now.

Hi, I'm 4linehaiku, and I have a problem.
18 years old, currently at Edinburgh University and trying to push the dubstep sound in our lovely Northern capital via Student radio and DJing at various nights.
Been a massive fan of DnB, Dub and all that IDM / Breakcore / Etc buisness for years, so kinda came at Dubstep from all angles. Except garage, never really listened to much garage. First got into the sound about a year ago, maybe? Only buying the records for about 6 months, so tracking down some of the classics is proving tricky. I'll get my copies of Twisup and Sign of the Dub one day, trust.

Big up Swiss crew! Have you heard any dubstep played out in Bern? Let me know if there are any nights up there - I'd be well up for a road trip. And definitely let me know if you know any promoters in Bern who'd be interested in a dubstep DJ from Geneva...

Well, I'm Dice..just turned 35..so guess I'm one of the gramps..love to party hard and dj (preferably at the same time). Been dj'ing close to ten years now. Mostly drum and bass..but I like everything from hip hop, jazz, soul, funk, reggae, dub, dancehall, garage, acid, ....the list is endless!
I live in Antwerp Belgium, where me and my friends host a night called Bambu, focussing on old school jungle, heavy drum influenced drum and bass and pure roller business. Next to that I have a weekly show on www.jungletrain.net and looking into expanding into an eclectic show soon..
Been into dubstep since I heard the Skream August Mix last year..

My name is Adam, been producing breaky UKG/dubstep etc under the name Elemental since 2002. Started off with a mate as Elemental + 3D. Before that was producing D&B and weird music for years ... started when I was about 14 on an Atari and Roland D5 at school (around 93).

I'm now 27! Been at it for ages now, on and off... finally the conditions are right for me to start coming thru as a producer ... my production skills are decent and the scene is ripe for my beats!

My next step is to start doing Live shows... starting with Noir in Bristol this friday!!

Big up all the encouragers and supporters!!

Yeah, got your PM. I'm looking forward to do something related with Dubstep/Grime here in Bern but I need more time and lots of cash I guess. Keep the frequencies low!

Respect,

Municiple from Chicago here. Been onto dubstep for about 1.5 years now, but more and more into it as it gets more minimal, more dub, and more strange.

Can check out some tracks I have produced at www.myspace.com/municiple

I also have a blog about net-labels that I run, check it:
www.beatsgratis.blogspot.com
If anyone has any top net-labels to rec, let me know.

Lastly, I have some dj mixes (acid house) at www.dubsoundsystem.com, there are some great dub sets there too.

Cool, good to know you all.

easy all, i'm Chris...residing in a bassment in north london...been into the sound for a few months, just had a listen to a dmz tune in a shop and that was that....been up to my ears in the jungle scene for the last 10 years, was aware of the sound but hadnt really come across much i liked till now, after going to dmz the other week i had such a blinding night it made me feel the way i did about jungle in 95-96.

Thankyou to everyone out there/here making amazing music and putting on great parties.

i'll try and get some stuff posted up once i actually like it enuff :) still sounds kinda raw....

i use a mac with logic and sometimes abelton live...
even though i got like a billion old vinyls, i been playin out using my iBook and Serato scratch live....dubplates just got too fuckin heavy for my aging back :)
