Talking from my own experience of releasing vinyl, that's what distributors do anyway.. They send the digital tunes to the digi-stores approx 4-8 weeks AFTER the vinyl release. This way DJs get the vinyl release (sometimes promo) first, the distributor sells the physical product to the shops and THEN the nearly cost-free digi file goes on-line. This way everyone's happy +plus vinyl sales don't get hurt

Piracy? Faster? There were rips of Return II Space floating around pretty much the day it got released.

what about the people who are NOT DJ'S ?? i am NOT A DJ and have no use to buy 20 dollars worth of plastic every time a tune comes out . digital makes it possible for people to enjoy music
vinyl only makes no sense, and only limits you from sharing your music with the world
