strats & chunky were on the mic for his set. which new icicle tune do you mean? and to be honest music is all we were talking about... he called everything like sweet shop by doctor p cheese on toast haha i was like "amen!" and i asked him about his tune momentum with icicle and that other unidentified track... he say's he's still learning...Intended Malice wrote:Does he still play out Words and Ideas by Icicle? I don't think that track got enough airtime, its so fucking good and when Youngsta played it in his solo set in 09 it was just too much. Did you happen get an ID for that new Icicle tune or were you guys too smashed to even talk music afterward?
Was he alone for this 2 hour set, or was there an MC?

The one he opened with on last weeks show, I thought it was an icicle track--I was in the kitchen grabbing a brandy--but since last weeks show is just missing from the Rinse site I can't know for sure. Someone said it was an icicle track, but obviously the title was unknown.alextheswede wrote:strats & chunky were on the mic for his set. which new icicle tune do you mean? and to be honest music is all we were talking about... he called everything like sweet shop by doctor p cheese on toast haha i was like "amen!" and i asked him about his tune momentum with icicle and that other unidentified track... he say's he's still learning...Intended Malice wrote:Does he still play out Words and Ideas by Icicle? The guy is humble, with tracks like Masai Mara, Cold Blooded and Surge under his belt I'd say he's surpassed the 'cheese on toast' crowd and then some by a large margin. Surge especially, I still get goose bumps every time. I seriously thought The Fifth was another KM and Youngsta collaboration the first time I heard it. Any date on that rinse CD?
