Man Shackleton has been absolutely smashin it recently. All the Honest Jons production levels have been hiiiigh, pure hypnotic darkness, way underrated. His Fabric mix was ridiculous too, was like a self-help audio tape gone evil, think he's gettin better n better

Only just seen that 'jog on mate' video so thought i'd bump this thread.

Shackleton is the best producer ever. His set at Bloc was just incredible.

Apparently he's playing Leeds in Feb with Sepalcure, Boddika, Scuba & George Fitzgerald, deffo going to make the drive up the M1 for that.

he's rumored to play at Coachella this year... i'd be absolutely stunned if it's true. never though i'd have a chance to catch the man live. should be one of the greatest sets i'll ever witness

Absolutely agree. At first I didn't really get his music and thought it was a bit weird, but I once gave skullcd1 a proper listen and I've been hooked eversince.
It's just brilliant. Proud to own both CDs and a couple Skull Disco releases on vinyl.

Also a huge thanks to DJ+ (resident DJ of Melkweg, Amsterdam) for playing Blood On My Hands at Sonic Warfare. Really wasn't expecting to hear a Shackleton tune there but it sounded fucking amazing on a system. Big up.

Im devoted to the curse of sound boy. Shackleton is a total hero IMB. no one constructs such a wide range of tonalities. He's truly a master of his craft. Very Entrancing INDEED.

Amazing producer, all the old skull disco material is great. Been loving his recent releases too, esp the Pinch colab album and Deadman + Big/King Midas remixes.

He's been here at least 3 times last year. Hope to see him in 2012 as well though since I've missed him on all 3 occasions.

Afraid not, he's not anywhere on the list. http://pitchfork.com/news/44978-coachel ... es-lineup/
If this is the future, it seems highly livable: shiny, cool and comfortably dissonant. Like a low dose of ketamine in an empty, luminous airport hall in northern Japan, eating avocado and waiting for the universe to arrive.
