Hardstyle/hardcore, Trance, DnB, Breakcore, IDM, Metal, various forms of music until my stoner friend introduced me to Africa VIP by C&R, it all went... downhill from there ^^
Had a phase where i went back to trancey stuff, but ive been back in the dubstep for a looong time

Dnb, Jungle, Minimal, Deep House. I still listen to al of those, but Dubstep kinda took DnB and Jungle's place

I've always listened to punk music more than any other genre, but as far as electronic music, it was mostly Eurodance, Electro, and Downtempo. Then I found dubstep and started branching out into dnb and hardstyle (not related but I like it anyways).

Classical/Opera (am I the only one in this thread to mention this?), Black/Death Metal, IDM and little bits of everything else. I still barely even know what Jungle music is.

mainly Rap, Downtempo, Big Beat, Breakbeat and I started out in the Metal scene, mainly Grindcore, Crustcore, old school Death Metal, some Black Metal, Industrial, Doom/Sludge. Still listen to all that stuff, came back to listening and buying more Grindcore releated stuff in the last couple of years after selling most of my old collection (kept all the classics though).
The first Dubstep I heard kinda reminded me of stuff like MHE and some of the darker DJ Krush stuff.

Mainly variations black metal (more on the experimental/atmospheric/melodic side tho).
Stuff like this for example:

I still listen to it, but not so intensively anymore.

i had no respect or interest in electronic music before dubstep.
mainly listened to radiohead and hiphop/rap.
dubstep saved music for me.. keeps me lookin for tracks every single FREAKING day

Pretty much just Metal, hardcore, hip hop & dnb and then Dubstep came along and showed me you could have all these things in the same place. Never looked back since
