Never experienced the hag. Just the screaming as I realise I'm trapped in my own body and mind.

People just broadcasting thoughts to each other influencing peoples decisions and state of minds.

Ever thought about something so hard and it actually happened? Like a train being delayed so you're not uber late for work?

Your eyes may be open and information coming through, but your mind is still stuck in dream world whilst your body fights to come out of paralysis. Not dismissing any other ideas, just makes the most sense to me.
How do you know which is the dream world?

Well quite often if I get the "hallucinations" (if that's the real term for them?) they're of figures in my room... so I'm guessing these are the things that have bled into reality. Not saying I have a clue though, sometimes it's not even visual... you just feel a presence. Very unnerving.

I used to have this when I was shotting mephedrone. Because I would have it around so much, I would end up smacking it day in day out. This did some crazy things to my sleeping pattern, would end up having it most times i went to sleep. Would feel myself going into as, as some have mentioned with the loud buzzing, which would start of quiet and then build up, felt evil presences around me and such. I would usually end up fighting it, by fighting to move one of my fingers, then hand, eventually my whole body, would then be awake.

This is part of the reason why I ended up takine mephedrone, such a filthy drug it is.

You could be living in a dream and "reality" is bleeding through. The figures might always be there. You just can't always see them.

You could be bleeding into their reality. The figures may well be as unnerved as you.

I can't believe so much people have experienced this. I would immediately talk to shrink if it would be as heavy as some describe
here.

Kinda offtopic: I do notice sometimes that dreaming affects my memory, I never know what I dreamed about but sometimes
I think something really happend but I must have dreamed it. I also think dreams and deja vu's are strongly connected, is there any information on that?

i don't think demons have necessarily anything to do with reptilians

paul levy explains demons as nonlocal entities that constellate within the psyche. they're entities without physical bodies that interact with the world via our acting out archetypes.

ok. so sleep paralysis is demons. OR its aliens. OR its waking up in our 'real' bodies and the colliding of the reality of our existence with the dream-like state that makes up our mental world and thus, our real world- which in turn causes mental stress and panic.

so what about other things that people experience, as someone put it, archetypal subconscious constructs - psychological effects of certain emotions causing hallucinations (lonliness = ants apparently); people all round the world experience this. no one is claiming this is alien activity or anything like the above. you cant pick and choose.

EDIT: it seems like it is actually the merging of two 'worlds'- either your body shuts down while you are still awake and you become 'paralysed' as occurs during REM or you awaken out of sleep whilst your body remains in REM. for your body then, you could perhaps say that it still thinks its asleep, thus would be pumping your brain full of the chemicals it does whilst your asleep, if it does this whilst your ACTUALLY awake you could indeed see, feel, taste, hear etc. some very odd things. why do people experience the same thing? in sleep, the outside world can affect your dreams- everyones had an alarm or a smell infect their dream for what seems like the entire dream when in reality it could only be a few seconds. If we assume that what the body experiences whilst asleep in this particular part of sleep would again, infect a dream in a particular way, we could assume that people would experience similar things.

the same way people experience a falling sensation in dreams, people experience this as other people do.

Is the dream world seperate from the "real" world?

i believe its a construct and result of the real world. in effect a sub-world, but only in the same way as your mind is separated from whatever is outside of it by the inability to connect with it in any other way than via the 5 senses.

classic veil of perception argument. what goes on in your dreams is your mind being free from the body. people go on about dream-time, how a dream can be seconds long but seem endless, its a well known fact that the mind of the super intelligent is only able to be super intelligent as it is simple, to go from a to b in your brain is quicker if you skip out a.1 a.2 a.3 etc. along the way. when you're asleep, you switch off and your brain is allowed to become more efficient, thus more reflective in certain ways and instead of constantly interpreting and gathering information from the outside, it focuses inside- hence you dream.

how much dreams are influenced by the outside world is debatable though, can blind people see in their dreams? why not... i duno... what WOULD they see is the interesting question
