pretty much last time im ever going warehouse. cant stand it. thought Doom was alrite, but i'll be honest i thought the sound was that bad i could barely make out the tunes i knew. maybe im just going deaf...

Sound was a bit shit at Brixton Academy I thought, but still had a heavy night. There were a couple tracks towards the end that were a lot clearer.

just heard the same from a mate saying the sound was shit there too.

it all basically comes down to the fact that sound engineers on a whole don't get hiphop. it goes the other way too cos how many hiphop heads do you know that wanna become sound engineers, everyone wants to spit or make beats.

to me hip hop isnt bass music, get the levels right on the vocals and the drum-tracks and your sweet, i can imagine though that doin live sound engineering for hip hop is so hard because the production is so hard to balance with the vocals.

maybe, but i reckon if they had a modicum of respect for the music they would spend enough time using their ears and get it right.
