Nothing wrong with the name, the only issue right now is spammers clogging up the forum again. :u:

I've changed my mind, I do think it should remain as House. It seems to act as a deterrent

Just leave it as house, thats what it is.
that's what i thought the consensus would be but wanted to check. no more name changes after this is sorted i promise! will leave the poll to run for a few days and see how things stand

as for the "room 2" name i thought we all agreed that was limiting things, if not suggesting that this stuff shouldn't be in room 1. it's like the whole "future" thing in that it will inevitably grow out of the name
come on, we all know room 2s are better because they play more interesting music and have much more space in the dance .. kinda like this forum - much more interesting music gets talked about and the 1st page isnt cluttered with a load of half arsed labels promoting their shitty tunes like in the main forum

room 2 just fits

good point, but do the posts here warrant enough for an entire new forum?

yeah i think so, plus more people would be attracted to a new forum
you have to start somewhere anyway, sure dubstep forum was a dead place when it was first set up
would give a lot of people a place to go if they're feeling all the unclassifiable stuff atm, rather than go to dubstep forum, which probably isn't the first thing that comes to mind

I don't really care massively but Room 2 is decent. Especially when Room 2 plays all of the genres that get heat in this subforum, like funky, Night Slugs, 'wonky', garage, 2-step and all that. If you are concerned with melody and rhythm this fringe is no doubt the healthiest part of dubstep.
