Do you still like the songs you liked back when you first got into dubstep?

Yes, I still like all the songs I liked back then. Their creativity, energy, and production quality stand the test of time

Kind of, but I mostly didn't know what the fuck I was doing back then. I would just purchase/download anything and think it was mind-blowing. I've since deleted half of the tunes I've owned from that time period

No; Since I first started liking dubstep, I've experienced a complete change of taste to the point where I can't stand anything I would have liked back then

Like many, my first introduction to dubstep was the release of Midnight Request Line back in 5, then I got my hands on some Digital Mystikz, N-Type.. Many of the tracks I liked bak when i 1st met dubstep are still favourites of mine, especially the early Skream stuff. MRL is also one of my favourite tracks ever. And not only do I still like my favourites from those days, I actually grew to like the artists/tracks I wasn't fond of back then as well. But I guess I'm more open to music anyway than I used to be, hmm.

The first two mixes I found were Skream-Watch the Ride and Fabriclive 37. I thought quite a few songs on the Skream one were shit when I first heard them, but they definitely grew on me. I used to skip past Mountain Dread March :(

I was fortunate enough to have people link me good songs when I "discovered" dubstep. Can't go wrong with Burial, Benga, and Skream.

Yeah for sure. I remember I first stumbled across dubstep 3 years ago (almost to the day). I went to a Valve vs Hospitality rave at The Custard Factory in Birmingham and Shogun Audio were doing a dubstep showcase in room 3, though I'll be damned if I can remember who played!

Anyway, I went record shopping the next day at Hard to Find Records and picked out about 15 x 12" from the 100 or so I listened to - some of these were Marlow - Scum / Convoy, Stenchman - What the Future Holds, Boxcutter - Philly, Martyn - Twenty Four / Velvet along with some Vaccine Recordings promos... all of which still get club airings to this day.

I still love all of those tracks and I can't see it changing anytime soon :D

Well when i first started listening to dubstep when hatcha dropped some dubstep tracks and i was hooked from then on. I still have appreciation for those tracks however now i tend to lean more to different styles of dubstep.
