the death of dubstep and the evolution of music

Perception is reality - dubstep is alive as long as people continue to like the music they like to call dubstep.. it evolves and changes and it's not for anyone to say "it's changed so now it's not dubstep'.. all genres experience evolution / sub-genres etc Did house die 20 years ago when it evolved into it's many different forms?

it was never dubstep! the label dubstep came about because everything that can be sold needs a label. start thinking of more creative things to call your music than dubstep.

what would you call it then? you have just the most ridiculous argument about what a music genre is called... would you really just have every style of electronic music grouped under dance? you're a mug

everyone misses the point i'm trying to make. i could care less what it is. the point is it's limiting people from evolving the sound. much like the idea of god prevented people from evolving their ideas.

yeah thats what i thought... put your keyboard away for a while and do some reading. If you had spent the time you've wasted in this thread reading through old forum posts you'd have turned up a bunch of tunes you like instead of making yourself feel more upset...
