this last ones a bit before jungle but it's the first rave tune i'd ever heard when i was eleven. i swear i flipped out and used to buzz like fuck off this tune a while before i started getting high

Killer tunes all those... but... this reminded me, and maybe some here can help... I think THIS tune was the first hardcore record ever to have the break cut up on the off-beat, so it rolled, rather than being a straight-ahead breakbeat loop. Nobody's yet persuaded me that there was an earlier one...bagelator wrote:

Hackney Hardcore were fucking awesome! Mark Ryder was a legend, Strictly Underground/Jungle Mania Records released some of the best tunes of all time.
