it annoying hearing details about this record because it's one i want to listen to so much, and it's more than likely going to sound like a proper album rather than a collection of dubstep tracks

I've been looking forward to hearing this album all year.

It better not disappoint.

So hyped for this, I've been making a list of the years albums to spring from the dubstep scene, its funny how all of them are huge departures from the wobbly side of it which seems to be rising in mainstream popularity, instead the albums coming out are really meaning something in the music scene as a whole, hopefully this will be no exception. Alongside Airhead's forthcoming album, (potentially) James Blake's album and even more potentially Burial's album, I reckon these selection of albums will be a mainstay in the genre and will go down in history.

Definitely, along with jack sparrows, and with joy orbison signing to chrysalis, I could only imagine first thing on their minds (being a record label) would be album, and guest appearences, they don't think the following for dubstep is strong enough yet to create successful first week numbers.. We will see, but yes! Darkstar!

Copped the vinyl yesterday to find the first track had a gash right through it :x . Returns tomorrow but from what I heard, it is a nice headphone album.

So what is everyone thinking about the chopped vocals in some of the tracks like Two Chords? Or some of the clipping in general?
In two chords it really bothers me. It's a shame to be honest, because my attention slips ever so slightly from the swelling and dark atmosphere of that track.

Favourite tracks for me seem to be Under One Roof, Ostkruez and When it's gone (finally those vocals from Squeeze My Lime unmasked ?).
And of course Aidy's girl.

good album and its up there (great atmosphere), but I'm afraid it won't top my list.

I listened through it twice this evening. It's pretty good.
