Build one!
Seriously tempted to ;) Looked up a tutorial, looks fairly difficult but I reckon I could do it with some time/effort/help :3

...so, back to the point, anyone managed to find some decent hang drum samples?

I believe when it started getting attention - you could only buy from sweden, there was about a 6 month wait, and it cost you between $3000 and $5000.

Hopefully I'm on the same track as all you. But Dante Bucci, I believe plays a hang drum.....I've bought his album off iTunes forever ago, and have tried sampling it. But I'm completely terrible at sampling. I will try again soon though cause I would love them for myself. Anyone have any tips/advice to possibly make getting the samples a little bit easier?

If I get some decent samples out of some of his tracks I will upload them for you lot.

Why don't you sample from youtube?
Do you say zerbaman? Or do you say zebraman?

I just made a Free Hang Drum Instrument Rack for Ableton actually. It has 3 different instruments based off the hang and has an effect rack as well. Free download with the samples in the live set as well:

Hope you find this useful. Its an amazing instrument.

Got a whole album of hang drum tracks I bought off a street musician in Barcelona in May. Best €5 I ever spent.

Would that be David Swarup? My friend bought his album and I borrowed it just for some samples. It's actually a great listen too.
Sub - This is great! I'm so excited to play around with it tonight. Thanks.

Nope, just checked the album and that's not the name on it.

Oh yeah, he's from Amsterdam, not Barcelona.
His music is beautiful.
