And that would be the end of everything.

My biggest beefs with time travel:

If you successfully built a time-machine, turned it on and headed into the past, wouldn't the machine start to "unbuild" itself as it travels back to the time before it was built? So essentially, can a time machine only travel as far back as the point it was built?

And if you travel into the future, do you age?

If John Connor is the offspring of a woman from the present and a man from the future, how was he born the "first time around", before time travel was yet possible?

John Connor didn't time travel; Terminators did.

You are still thinking in the terms of Actualities being bound to a system of measurement. Just think about how simple that statement is.

hard to unlock a locked mind to make it understand the simplest basic fact: can't travel in something that doesn't exist yet (as in the definition of the future) or doesn't exist anymore (as in the definition of the past). that' how locked they are

If it is "ever" possible then you wouldn't ask that question. It would have already happened, and you would know about it. Think about the word EVER. If time travel was traveling to the past or to the present, we would never die. Time is an... illusion.. a system of measurement. It does not catalog events and actualities. Time doesn't record or foresee anything. Time is purely a human concept. Physics have made a fundamental error of including it into space and dimension. A variable of one directional thought. There is believably a beginning and an end. The moment you try to measure that, is the moment you see the error in human thought. The past is events that are in a state of decay. The future has not been written yet. Very simple... there is no "TIME" between those, because those points cannot be determined.
for a long while i thought i'm the only one around with this opinion... happy i'm not
What about only traveling into the future? Physicists that have spent lifetimes studying this so I'd generally look at their different arguments and listen what they say unless I wasn't to spend the next 50 years studying it. They generally say it is impossible to travel back in time, but traveling into the future is possible and happens, satellites have to account for time being slower for them than on earth as they travel closer to the speed of light than objects on earth, its a proven and calculated fact.
that would mean more parallel time-lines exist same time. if some guy goes where "time is faster", he would be in the future at some moment for the people where time goes slower, so not in the present, so basically he would disappear for the others, because he will be always in the future and never in the present, does that ever happens?

its all relative
this and "this is interesting" are two expressions that mean actually nothing and everything so they are used by people who have nothing to say, but they want to look like they mean everything

If we could time travel into the past, wouldn't the history of the Earth be completely different.

i know you can't answer my question about parallel timelines as simply and nicely as i put it, that should mean something

that's for the idiots obsessed with my person, for a normal person it means you're just another one in the long line that can't do that because nobody can, because i am correct in my statements, i'm sorry if that hurts your feelings

It means that you think you know better than Physicists that have studied this at the highest level for years, there is a whole chapter in that book explaining how timelines run differently, its too much to answer in a forum post even if I could, if you don't even see how relativity has anything to do with thinking on time and space then it seems you really don't know much about the subject. So rather than argue it out on a forum why not read that book, then at least you have experts putting well thought out theories for you to think about.
i wonder what made you think i "don't even see how relativity has anything to do with thinking on time and space"
So rather than argue it out on a forum why not tell everyone to read that book then at least they have experts putting well thought out theories for them to think about. then /thread and you sorted it

anyway, i don't want to become the topic here too, i'll dash out and if i come back i'll only answer to your scientific and logical arguments (maybe), so don't bother get more personal than this because i don't give a shit man
