Thanks for the comments guys!

@ substep infrabass
I like the tension in the intro. The main body is brutally good but a bit muddy. I think the bassline needs some EQing and maybe the noisy sound in the background could be a couple dBs quieter ?
Nice tune anyway!

@ weedcali
The tune is not really my cup of tea tbh but the production is good and the arrangement well thought. Perhaps the bassline could have more trebble for clarity ?

@ den5hion
Nice works with the bleeps man! Interesting mix of the 2 genres as well! I wanted to make something like that but couldn't come up with the proper psytrance noises. Now I know how it'd sound

@ gonzodj
I'm not too keen on the bassline but on a more objective level it could use more variation and wtf happened to the kick ? I can't hear it!

noisy sound in the background is...vocal :) for now sampled and sustained leaving space for death metal vocalist when he's ready :5:

@Emm - over all great track but defiantly add more to it..add a little more snyths to that wobble to spice it up give it a little more

@Weed Cali - good intro but def change up that pitched voice but over all good start

@ King Logan - love this track the samples really add to it

def a wip for me here- looking forward for some input to make this better.

please tell me he's a good death metal vocalist :(

i'm tired of hearing indistinguishable vocals from metal songs, i miss late 80s and early 90s death metal.

its a matter of taste I think - the guy is new school and I am more after using vox as an instrument so there will be no chance to distinguish words - in the vein of brodequin and devourment...sorry :)

@kidstrange - slightly too much highs, some freqs are ear hurting - but in overall the track is in the vein of getdarker/cyrus/darkside opening tunes, there is some slight clipping on the rises, snares sometimes give the feel that there are not really in time but maybe this is for purpose

Aphile: Kick sounds like its overpowering the mix a little, unless you're sidchaining everything to the mix, try and fill the bands a little, you have both you're slices of bread, but nothing to much in the middle.

snif: It could just be you're arrangement and particular fancy (music is subjective after all) but it sounds like the bass is drowing your kick and snare out, sidechaining, eqing, etc would help a fair bit.

A new remix project of mine, fairly generic song but I like to try my hand at remixes from time to time to stay fresh

Soundcloud

Bare bones wip atm

Soundcloud seems to be popping the bass, its not in the original mix.

I am not side-chaining, I've heard that term used many times but I really do not know how to properly do it. It's something I'll have to pickup, but what exactly do you mean by filling the bands? Side-chaining I have heard of, but bands I have not.

Filling to space, but keeping clarity. To the majority of ears, sidechaining is a method of compression, usually used to duck the volume of one element as another plays.

@Nacklewicket maybe its just my speakers but the sub seems weak but maybe thats how you want it. the tambourine is a little over powering kind of brings less attention to everything else going on

Nacklewicket, this tune is so chill! i love the drums and percs! the sub sems fine to me. ill have to take a listen on my monitors though. great track!

Astral, really digging the feel of this track. the bass is very clean and crisp in my headphones. whats the song your remixing?

As for the track in my sig, im gonna be able to work on it some more this weekend. im thinking of redoing the intro but i want some opinions. should i have an intro that starts with drums or should i keep it slow and building up like it is?

@Weedcali: Great feel to this one. Nice and chilled, and I love how wide you've made those drums. Sub is pretty sweet too.

@Nacklewicket: That sub nearly made my head explode. Love the syncopated little organny thing too. very nice work. All i'd say is get that percussion blended in man, it sticks out a bit. Verbs and EQ's to get it sitting nicely. Otherwise, this is super chilled.

@Astral: When that thing drop sis amazing. Bass sound is immense. But, the snare in particular gets lost. It doesn't cut through at all. It's got some body, but no bite. Serious EQ'ing needed here. Apart from that, its a sick remix.

@ Debaser1: Sweet intro man, diggin the windy atmo in the background! Drop and bass are nice.
However, i'd put the hats/shaker a bit more upfront. Not much shuffling going now imo. Kick-snare is a bit
too static for me. Fuck me that bass is deeeeeep. Overall quality wip, finish it!

@ weedcali: Fuuuuuck love it!!! I'm in love with that bass man. Totes up my alley. Nothing i can criticize really.
Fuck man that's dope. Really dope. Excellent!!!

@ Nacklewit: Wow deep stuff. Massive soundcloud :O. But really, that's some good shit right there bro.
Great atmosphere. Personally, i'd give the snare a bit more reverb. I just love those huge resonating
drum sounds in deep tracks. Big tune already mate! Finish it!

This is my wippy, would love some feedback. It's a remix of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XsSoMBVF3w

THanks for the feedback!

Traffikz, really cool sample. i feel it fits the track nicely. the bassline is also very good. i like how the drumms repeat really fast at times(lol have no idea what thats called :P)

Debaser1, love the feel of this track! something i would want to walk slow motion in the rain to XD

got to work on this a little today.....

but I got a 10 page paper I gotta write!!!! :q: haha dam
Soundcloudedit: i think ima take that sub out in the intro haha

Aphile: I like the intro but not really diggin the rest tbh kinda doesn't really blend that well to me. but would most def go in a direction so it's more like the intro!

weedcali: nice :m: really chill everything sits together really good! sick

TRaffikz: haha nice vox! kinda think you can cut off maybe a tad of the high frequency's.. but like just a lil! other than that sick... intro is funny haha :W:

Debaser1: nice chill tune dog! but tbh i think the intro is a lil repetitive.. you sould try to throw some other stuff into the intro though in my own opinion. other than that everything is sweet! I like that sample that kinda sounds like shredding... but more like a pepper grinder haha

Nacklewicket: hey that shit is way ill! good job really nice groove :e: sick vibes! and I know what you mean haha you listen to it so many times... over and over and over and over and over and over and over then the next tune... over and over and over haha
