at the end of the day if pure empathy for a cancer patient isnt enough for you to hope for a cure then your one heartless individual.

hey i'm all for it, but knowing the medical community the cost of a cure will put the treated patient in a lifetime of debt (least in the states as is)

Things like Infectious diseases (Malaria etc) and Cardiovascular diseases take far far more life every year (about 60% of total deaths in the world per year) compared to cancer (which lies at around 10-15%).
