you better stay in doors cause if I ever saw you, i'd fuckin smack you. I'm also almost 6foot. been in a fair few fights with football hooligans who were giving it all that but couldn't walk the walk.

Technically though I believe "affect" can be use as a verb. So you could affect something.

yeah of course. both are verbs depending on context, and affect can be a noun as well. it's a bit confusing but the examples i gave should clear up the more common confusion about usage
